Iris Apfel, a New Yorker that foundered a textile firm and interior design company, she sure knows how to turn heads. With huge owl like glasses and so many necklace and bangles round her wrists and neck your bound to be intrigued by this lady's style. An array of colour, textures and styles from around the world that work so well together but you do not know quite how she came to put them altogether.
Apfel would put a smile on any ones face if you saw her coming towards you and be very proud of her if she was your Grandma. You would not believe she was 90 years old. Having an exhibition of her wardrobe displayed Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2005 proved to be an inspiration for designers like Ralph Lauren 2006 Autumn collection and many more designers to no doubt.
