The Artist

A wonderful silent, black and white film directed by Michel Hazanaviciusthat steps back into time into a forgotten age of Hollywood but it's charm wins over a modern day audience without any problems. George Valentin (played by Jean Dejardin) and Peppy Miller (played Benice Bejo), careers propel in opposite direction as the "talkies" take hold of Hollywood but a spark between the two can not be floundered and together they can reign over Hollywood. The dog is ever so sweet, ever faithful. Praise well desevered, go and see it if you have not already. Get those tap shoes out and glad rags in case you feel inspired to join in.
